Great family room and couldn't hear any neighbour noise. Hosts were fantastic and made for a great overnight stay.

We were not happy with the accommodation. There was someones facial shavings still all over the bathroom, the pillows looked like they haven't been replaced in years as well as old and gross sheets and bedspread. The bathroom has mold over the roof and there was someones hair and dirt remains in the shower. We ended up going and buying our own pillows and sheets for the second night.

Room is spacious but no water jug for cold water no spoons for tea cup shower area leaves much to be desired chips mold everywhere in adequate parking space for rooms and dinner at the restaurant is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED for what you get IE parmagiana 3 little strips of chicken thinner then ya pinkie salad dressing is very acidic for the salad table clothes not cleaned seats covered with throw over seat covers that look tacky. Have traveled from Cairns and have stayed at other accommodation that's was cheaper but better.

No major complaints, but a little aged and a bit overpriced compared to numerous others we have visited over the last 10 days travelling around NSW. More comparable to 3 star motels charging around $115 rather than $145. Our room near the office end of the building was a bit noisy early morning due to kitchen staff and a bakery outside the back window. Staff were very friendly.

The first time we went for dinner, the food was excellent. I had the lamb cutlets and they were great. The second time we went I had the chicken pasta and although the pasta and chicken was great, it was almost like they had forgotten the sauce. We were in a large group and two others felt the exact same way. Apart from this issue with the pasta, the restaurant is probably the best in Cobar. I would say that this was likely a once off issue but will definitely be going back again.
